85 or 90 in the far left lane.
Anyone caught going slower is free to be beaten by police.

this is the key, driver training is intense, pretty expensive, and doing stupid stuff, speeding, and driving distracted will cost you you license very quickly.
Better trained drivers and newer cars should be allowed to do higher speeds

Kids and GF laughed at me for going 74 in an 80 every time.
As they should.

Depends on road conditions and where. 75 is great in places that have good highways. However some vehicles are unsafe even at that speed. 70 should be the max for Mississippi and Louisiana because of road quality in some areas. In a 70 people drive 75ish, in a 75 people drive 80ish anyways.

It should be illegal to ride in the far left lane other than to pass
It's already illegal.
Police force is too busy giving out tickets for inspection stickers to enforce it though.

I am fine with most any reasonable speed so long as slow traffic would just keep the frick right.
Ride in the right lane only pass in the left

duh, the faster you go, the more fuel you save.
What idiot goes fast to save fuel?
It's always to prove the trooper wrong that one can indeed get there faster if they speed beyond the posted limits.

Drivers on I-10 in Louisiana, especially the Basin, can't handle the speeds now without causing wrecks. Imagine if the speeds were higher.

Right lane- 75mph
Left Lane- WFO!
$10,000 fine for driving below the limit in the right lane
$25,000 fine for riding with your hazards on
Prison time for rubber neckers

Should be 80 along I/55 from Memphis to Louisiana except through the Jackson area
That is the flattest damn road

Drove a Tesla over the weekend. Went from BR to Houston. That thing ran just fine at 90MPH or more. I looked down a couple of times and saw I was over 100--car handled so well it wasn't apparent. I say there should not be a limit--just a general law against reckless operation. If there's got to be an upper limit, I'd vote for 85/90.

Left lane: 80+
Right lane: -80

It wouldn’t matter if it was 100. There would be a carpetbagger with Dekalb County plates in the left lane running 58 beside a log truck.
