This year we’re getting out of having to hand out Halloween candy this year because my daughter is on the cheer squad and the last regular season game is that night. We’ll leave a little before 5 and get home probably about 10.

Oh I’m sorry that I still enjoy holidays. What does a bunch of people choosing to not hand out candy and give away non candy treats have to do with my trick or treating days?

I'm old, the kids and grandkids are grown but I would love to trick or treat but in a neighborhood that gave out Boudin, Beer & Boiled Peanuts,
