I was that dumb kid who thought my only career options were firefighter, police officer, astronaut, or president.
I picked firefighter because I liked fire, a lot
My actual first job was mowing lawns. My Dad loaned me his old arse trailer, basic equipment, and told me to save for better stuff. Did that 3 years running until college and then sold all the equipment for drinking money before college.

Didn't really think about what job I wanted but working at the mall in a dress shop in the late 80s and getting a discount on my geometric patterned skirts and jackets with shoulder pads seemed like I was living the dream.

My first job was rolling condoms onto a giant wooden dildo with grooved rings cut into it. I would then mark the rings with a sharpie. And then take them over to a paper cutter and slice them into long strips.
I would then hand the strips of latex to a group of Pentecostal preachers who would press them between aluminum frames to make turkey calls.

I don't remember what job I wanted, but my first job was at 14 at a nursery/landscaping place shoveling mulch out back for the most part and helping old ladies carry their plants/flowers to their cars for $0.25 tips. There were also all kinds of animals running around there and a Cayman that would somehow always get out of his enclosure, so almost every morning I would have to go found the Cayman in the water plants section
