I always wanted to work at a Cotton Candy/Snowball Stand or be a Pool Boy.

However, my first job was framing houses.

What was your first job as a teen vs your first actual job?

I always thought it'd be cool to work at the mall, although there wasn't one close enough to be worthwhile to work at the time.

Actual first job was a funeral home.

This explains a lot. I have always thought of you as being a negative nancy type.

Job wanted, negative. Didn't want any job.

First job was bagging groceries at Kroger, back when it was still customary to carry the groceries out and get tipped. On a good Saturday, you could come home with $100 in ones, a big roll. For a teenager in the mid 90's that was serious cheddar.

ETA- I remembe rone particularly good day, I come home and my little brother is hanging out with his friends, I say "what did yall do today?". The answer was "we smoked some weed down by the creek". Smugly I pull out my wad and start counting my money. It was close to 150. Then they all started pulling out their weed selling money and made me feel like a chump. Getting pwned by my little brother and his dumbass little friends. I didn't last much longer at Kroger before I allowed them to let me into The Game. That's when I became a kingpin.

not sure what one has to do with the other, if anything it actually forces you to be overly happy about stuff.

it was at t.wages, odds are you've probably been there.

Had the job I wanted: worked in a garage. I’d pestered the guy from when I was about 12 years old. When I turned 14 he let me go work there. Owner took the time to teach me and helped me rebuild the motor on my first car. Of course this was well before the days of computer diagnostics etc.

I was a lifeguard when I was a teenager and didn’t want any other job. When nobody was there my girlfriend would give me underwater blowjobs. Best job I’ve ever had.

I have sat at the New Hope/Scenic Highway intersection for what must approach a year of my life, right next to it, but never been there proper.

My first job was selling Cokes at Neyland Stadium (back when they still had runners selling drinks in the stands). It was awesome for a 15 year old.

I wanted to work in a baseball card shop. This was in the mid 90’s when Baton Rouge had a half dozen of them. Ended up working two summers at Albertsons. Hated every minute of it but in retrospect I learned a lot about how to deal with people.

But I really wanted to work at cafe du monde
