Busboy at a very good local fine dining restaurant, instead, busboy at Outback Steakhouse
At 14, i was busing tables at a mom and pop italian restaurant.
At 16, Outback took me on to bus tables.
I was happy to work and get cash daily.

I had quite a few jobs as a kid. Started working with my dad on the ambulance when I was 13, but the most fun was driving the British cars from the docks to there respective warehouses; TR-4, MGB, Austin Healy & on a good day, XKE. It looked like an SCCA race on any given day :-)

I wanted to be a lifeguard at the local public pool because of the hotter older talent that worked there every summer.
My first job was a staffer at the Parks and Rec "Day Camp" program during the summer. But technically I was a volunteer, but the director and my parents were friends so he paid me less than minimum wage under the table.
I worked at the PARD again the next summer, but was put on the paint crew where we repainted stripes and curbs in the civic center parking lot and any other thing that could be painted around that place. The worst part was when we had to repaint the building and parking lot of the pool and I got to see what I was missing out on for about a week and a half.

Working at Cafe Du Monde was my first job. .95 cents an hour plus tips. It was a great first job, met a lot of interesting people.
