I have a friend who started out in the steel industry and is currently a part owner of an NHL team. She can live comfortably off the interest of her savings.
ETA:
She got her "in" from family... but was actually made to go a harder road than the men around her who started with the company at the same point she did. She was pretty unique doing what she was doing in the 80s.

I started my wife out with funding and she has built her business up to where she makes seven figures a year shipping containers across the globe.

Agent at Gary Greene. She grosses around $800k to $850K per year. Amazing at marketing herself and has created a huge network with non-stop referrals.

I legit knew a gal who paid her way through LSU stripping at the Gold Club. Very smart chick. She's a PhD Professor now in a 'real' field of science. I admired her ambition and discipline to use her looks and body to make a real career for herself instead of getting into a life of drugs and prostitution.

That lady on the North Shore, “Ingrid Somebody” started a healthy food prep/meal company and she’s making fricking bank. Easily clearing $1M+ per year at this point
Ingrid Rinck, creator of Sensible Meals.
I’ve been a guest in her box (not that box perverts) at the Smoothie King Center for quite a few events. She is definitely making bank and is a very generous person.

Sells her pussy. She has only one “client” and that’s her husband. He’s worth untold millions (coal money) and she gets anything she wants.

A young lady I know started her own maid cleaning company cleaning I used for my business. She then merged her company with her father's environmental cleaning company 15 years ago.
They now clean up meth labs, rooms where people died or been wounded, and now making serious money cleaning office building with the recent virus. The other side of the company cleans up abandon EPA designated waste sites.

Years ago I dated an anesthesiologist who always bragged about making $750K/year. An ex-girlfriend is an "online personal trainer/fitness personality" with over 2 million followers on Instagram and was making over $600K/year at age 27, probably much more now (she's 29).

My old supervisor owns 3 laundromats and 2 dry cleaners she is also a manager for an airline. Her 2 daughters are both nurses and help manage the laundromats and dry cleaners.
The family owns like 6 houses in Guyana where she is from.
I would imagine between just the 3 salaries and the laundromats and dry cleaners they have to make close to a million a year. And who knows what the worth of all the houses and land in Guyana is worth
