It could be pilot suicide but I’m leaning towards fire. Crew had just enough oxygen to last for them to make a few course corrections until they succumbed. The fire likely knocked out their radios and avionics so they were flying blind at night or the autopilot wouldn’t respond correctly.
The autopilot flew it all the way to the southern Indian Ocean before gas ran out.

The theory of the pilot flying 6 hours with the end goal of crashing and nothing being found seems like the most plausible. Probably had a heart attack mid-flight? The debris all being found by one guy seems odd.

There was a matching serial number and the documentary glazed over it.

Most Netflix docs are

They have maybe 1 hour of real content that they spread out into 3 or 4 hours repeating same stuff over and over

Exactly, Boeing was able to match one piece of debris to MH’s customer number.

But instead they spent more time trying to say the 777 debris was planted. That documentary was garbage.

Why did every one of that quack’s “theories” involve depressurizing the cabin?

Initially thought a muslim faction had taken it to central Asia for a future 9/11 type event, until the satellite evidence came out. It’s at the bottom of the Indian Ocean west or southwest of Australia.

There were two Iranian nationals on board who were flying with stolen passports that allowed them to assume the identity of the folks on the passports.

Why would Iranian nationals do that on a plane bound for China?

Glide is a bit of a strong term. Probably damned near perpendicular.

Would be the best way to prevent panic and shut down the cabin so he could do his thing in peace.
