What does put the toilet seat down mean to you?

It means piss on the lid to mark my territory. If it's a public restroom, dribble on the floor too.

If I’m in a public restroom I piss everywhere except inside the toilet. I love doing it at Burger King. Maybe next time they’ll get my order correct.

I don't touch the seat because I put a urinal in my house.

I just put it back down. Less ear screeching.

When i worked in a micro lab, i brought home some bacteria plates to do some testing because she argued with me about this.


I put the plates on various places in the bathroom, after cleaning it well. I would defecate and flush the toilet- had my control sample, lid up, and lid down sample from various points.

The lid down had 4 log LESS bacteria on it.

Tl:dr- put the lid down when you flush unless you want shitty bacteria all over you and your bathroom

This is how I was raised. I hate walking into a bathroom and staring into an open toilet. It's gross.

I put both the seat and lid down so that way she has to do some work before sitting to piss.

If I have to remember to put them down, she has to remember to lift the lid up.

Compromise

And I refuse to take a piss sitting down. After a dump I wipe and stand up.
