What does it mean?

Took my kids today to the Museum of Natural History since it was the last day for the King Tut display (not worth it IMO) and it was packed. While making my way through the museum I noticed it was quite a diverse group of people that were visiting the museum and there were quite a few people wearing this “Ally” shirt. I think I have an idea as to why people would decide to wear this shirt but I wanted the input from the O-T as to their interpretation of its meaning.
