What does America look like if the Trans-Atlantic slave trade doesn’t occur?

Was having a conversation the other day with someone and they suggested that if African slavery hadn’t come to the states, we may have remained a British commonwealth due to an importation of poor Irish to do the work.
And since there wouldn’t be a racial divide, there would have been a class divide, and so perhaps the sentiment of “all men are created equal” doesn’t develop, and if the colonies do rebel, the British may have found more sympathy from the underclass and had them as allies.
I thought it was an interesting take.
I’m a big fan of musing on alternative history. So what does the OT think would happen in the absence of an American Slave Trade?
No civil war?
A Balkanization of America, with various ethnostates forming around enclaves of European people’s?
More Slavs and Germans and Irish altering the trajectory of the nation and changing world history?
Whose side would we have fought on in WW1?
One thing is for certain...had that happened, we’d have more of a preponderance of attractive women in some places.
On an unrelated note, here’s some kids in power wheels running down their siblings.

Are these threads a secret operation to force bans and thin the herd?

Since the Civil War was about slavery, it wouldn't have happened in your scenario.

There’s still hope, brother.

I honestly didn’t even think about that aspect.
The Chinese had it shittier than damn near everyone. Even the Irish.

Slavery had NOTHING to do with our push towards independence. Britain had slavery during those same years.
Our push came from the Enlightenment period philosophy that most of our Founding Fathers subscribed and discussed.
They saw the colonial relationship with Britain for what it was, expoitation for the betterment of those back in the old country.
The American racial makeup would obviously be different as would be the politcal landscape in Africa but both would still be independent from European powers

investment in automation (cotton gin ,etc) would have occurred sooner however growth of the south and the US would have been much slower until we had the scale to extract the value of cotton (textiles).
It's a good question to ponder.

Canada
Only thing similar would be ethnic/racial makeup.

People seemed to enjoy it before integration.
