What does a chemical operator do?

I see plenty of guys with no education who do this and make a really good living. What exactly do they do on a daily basis?

What do they do?
Take a clipboard and go write down a bunch of shite.
Bitch about their pay.
Talk about how badass their truck is.
Sleep.
Get divorced on the regular.
Volunteer to work holidays so they dont have to go to the in-laws.
Talk about how much they made last year. Knowing damn well you had to work the equivalent of an extra 6 months for that baw.
Every one of them have the answers on life too, you dont even have to ask, they'll tell you.

They sign my permit after lunch so I can work on the equipment that was supposed to be locked out first thing in the morning.
