Will I ever become a mom?

Will my dad’s mental health issues ever get better?

What if it gets worse? How will I be able to take care of my mom and siblings that all now live near me?

What kind of impact is all the recent stressors in my life having on my marriage?

My daughter is severely disabled, and one day, assuming I don’t die unexpectedly, I’ll have to bury her. It’s a harsh thing to know. I dread the future. I know her life expectancy and I wish I didn’t.

That's horrible, at least in our case once my wife was going into premature labor it was real but it was like i was watching everything from above. The whole week felt like an out of body experience. I figure that's the way something like that is handled . But in your family's circumstance i would not know what to do.

My parents are getting up there in age. They have health problems. Naturally, I worry about my kids. You guide them but at some point you have to let go and hope you raised em' right to make good decisions. The usual stuff. Overall I've been lucky compared to a lot of others.

i didnt make it that far, but it still did a number on me. 1st pregnancy we made it 7 weeks. Lost it, 2nd pregnancy a year later made it 10weeks, lost twins... 3rd pregnancy year later here we sit with our 7month old. A blessing, but i worry every single day about him. Have not slept much in the past year, and not sure i will anytime soon. We all are going through something, we are all human.

You have to know that 64 + 9 = 73 and not 75.

You in Environmental field?

I know you weren’t asking me, but I’m taking April as well. I’ve been self studying. Waking up early in AM and studying for about an hour each morning. Started prepping in December. I’m worried like hell about time management during the exam. But I’ve studied my arse off. I feel like I brushed up on everything. Now whether I can work quickly enough is another thing.

One thing to note, next April will be computer-based in Louisiana.

I worry about having enough money to give my family the life I feel they deserve. The funny thing is, they don’t really care. My daughter didn’t want Christmas presents and wanted poor kids to get them instead

My mom had to bury a child (killed by drunk driver 22 years ago this week), one of my good buddy’s daughters is about to go on hospice, and one of my good friends died from breast cancer last year. There are so much more important things, but my worries usually come back to money (even though we are more than ok)

I can relate in terms how our minds tend to drift on money or other difficulties, might be a conflict at work ...issues that aren't as important as flesh and blood.

but yet we let these things dominate our thinking and steal our joy...

this is the battlefield we face every day...everyone of us

we worry because we know we're not in control...we want security , we want control, we want to make sure it's going to be ok...
