Instead of using siding, wood, brick, stucco.... what about a house that has metal as it's exterior.

Thoughts?

I saw a house in Mandeville with a galvanized look.

I began to wonder how easy it was for termites and other bugs to get in the place.

I plan on building one soon. I'm basically going to build a big shop and have a kitchen and two lofts in it. If i ever decide to get married I can build a house next to it.

It's nice they buried the wheels where you can't see them.

Cost effective. My folks paid 100K for one and lived in it for 18 years. Looked no different on the inside than any normal house in suburbia.

Looks cheap.
Looks like shite.
I would expect them to drive a Chevy Trailblazer.
Residents are the type to fill their house with cheap shite and a 70" tv.
Likely have an above ground pool.

For a camp? Fine.

For my main residence, no.

My uncle just did this on his property in St. Franny... did everything himself, from timber to trim... turned out great

I’d love to have a big shop with about a 1000 square foot living area.

Do the cooking outside the living area. Have a game room built up top.

Prissy women probably wouldn’t like it but it’s a great bachelor pad
