But for real a lot of the time its stuff I'm working on, the listening and building of what I know is there, be it what needs to be added, volume in mix adjusted, EQ'd, re-recorded, etc.
growing up it was stuff like the misfits collection 2 album, Storm of the lights bane, when the kite string pops & PTT, Hvis lyset tar oss, under a funeral moon..etc

Got an app called relaxio. I create a sound of my liking. Usually it's ocean waves with some wind and a fire. I like to think of it as what Tom Hanks character heard in cast away.
