What do you enjoy talking about?

The thread the other day about what we don't like talking about with other people got me thinking.
We don't care about people's kids, their jobs, their fantasy teams, their dreams, their health, their vacation/travel, religion, dogs, cars etc...
What do you find interesting or enjoy talking about, whether with friends or small talk?

That’s the top three I guess. But really, I can talk about just about anything.

Why do you sound so melty?

I like talking about a lot of stuff.
It just depends on who is talking about it.
I like talking sports, for example, but I don't enjoy talking about it with someone who doesn't know shite about sports..
Or just in general, I don't like to talk with people about anything if they know little about the topic, yet have a bunch of opinions about it.
The other day I was talking with some people, one who was/is a known know it all.. I mention looking up something on ChatGPT.. I should note the know it all is an old person.. In their 70s, but I have known then for awhile and has always been that way. I had to say "ChatGPT is AI generate".. And this person says "That AI is something. It has pretty much changed baseball where getting a hit isn't as important"..
In my head I am thinking "what is this dude talking about?". Then I figured out that he seems like he was thinking AI is what they called the system used in Moneyball. So I don't like talking to people who thinks AI is mainly used for figuring out the best way to win baseball games.

I like asking a person questions and learning new things. I don’t care if it’s science, history, art, music, news, something they’re interested in that I’ve never known about, etc…if they’re teaching me something I didn’t know before, I’m interested. I think people today talk about a lot of things that don’t enrich the lives of the people to whom they are talking, and that’s why the other thread exists.

I don't want to hear an inning by inning recap of your kid's baseball game. If there's a funny or interesting anecdote from the game, sure, tell me.

Obviously a question for TulaneLSU. I'm sure he could come up with at least 10 things he likes to talk about.
