What do you do when everyone around you is drinking?

And you’re sober? What do you think of non drinkers? Last time I really drank was 2012. I don’t regret quitting. But was curious what normal folk think of someone ordering a mocktail?

That they must have been a raging alcoholic and have either sucked dick for a beer or spent a long time in federal prison due to their problem. Or both.

Generally I think you're a broken pussy who had to completely quit and go dry because you simply can't handle a normal social amount of liquor, like a regular person.

We stopped drinking when we sold the last property in NOLA and moved up here full time.
I think our liquor cabinet may still have a bottle of cheap Schwegmann's Vodka. I've used up almost all of my run for Christmas cooking and the really good Couv. Brandy for a French recipe last year.
Our stress levels are so different from what they were.

The vast vast majority of people don’t care.

I have less tolerance for the raging alcoholics but otherwise mind my own business. I don't date alcoholics. Not worth the trouble.

The only thing worse than being the only guy drinking around a bunch of sober guys is being the only sober guy around a bunch of drunks.

I’ve become a non drinker when I must drive. Zero. I’ve not had any issues just drinking a soda or water. Sure is nice to not worry about getting home or who is driving.

I’m not 19 anymore so I don’t care, and several of my friends are former drinkers.
