I dont think Braxton's grade are the problem.

Improve the football teams even more, and ban restaurants that put tomatoes in gumbo.
No one will give a shite about anything else.

point number 4 would never fly for several reasons but I would be very much in favor of it.

1) Louisiana has one of the highest obesity rates in America. Yet when myself and the other poster come on here telling everyone to lose weight and workout we get downvoted into oblivion.
2) Cleanliness. The sides of the interstate are constantly littered, yet I know damn well their are people on here who won’t think twice about throwing a bud light can out their window on the way home from the plant
3) Higher taxes and highest insurance rates in the country. Yet JBE was just voted in for a second term.
4) Education. Teachers can only do so much. At some point you have to take fortnite away from Braxton and make him do school work. Discipline your children. Higher ACT scores will lead to better schools.
1) Maybe try educating people on proper nutrition instead of talking shite on a message board. If you are so convinced your method works go do it in public, I look forward to the "I just got my arse kicked by a fat guy" thread on the OT
2) This isn't a problem exclusive to this state. You can go start picking it up yourself if you would like. Maybe if the state had as much of an agenda as arresting people for harmless weed in regards to littering something would get done
3) Higher taxes and Insurance was here well before JBE and has existed through multiple governors regardless of the letter in front of their name
4) Teachers in this state continue to be the lowest paid in the country and funny how you mention JBE when he got them their first raise in 20 years.
I'm sure your being a dipshit message board warrior is going to spark that change though.

Which was immediately nullified by an increase in health care insurance premiums.

What do you do to Improve Louisiana?
Build a beautiful fricking loop around Baton Rouge.
Connect Laffy to Nola via I-49.
Bust arse to get I-14 built from Waco across La through Alex to Vidalia.
Huge corporate tax breaks for distribution centers and tech industry and basically anything that will create a bunch of direct and indirect permanent jobs.
Hound The Feds for Tech grants for the Universities to get up to snuff on computer software and hardware engineering.
Fund the fricking shite out of LSU Medical School particularly in oncology.
Make shitty school districts be absorbed by better ones. Basically create a system where the best school districts run the shittier school districts.
Remove any semblance of tenure in education, unless the educator has a PhD, MD, etc.
Keep the Hollywood Credits where they be and create more incentives for Hollywood to invest in Louisiana. One idea is fund investment via Co-Op ventures like studios, media centers, production facilities with the universities/trade school/hs programs.
I'm a frickin genius.

It was a $1,000 stipend that doesn’t continue in 2020. It wasn’t a raise. It was a one time bonus just in time for election season.

I wouldn't say that plant baws and kids named Braxton are the major obstacle to greatness for our state. But what do I know? I don't have a masters in Sociology.

Well yea. I hate trial lawyers and think weed and whores should be legal.
Those are secondary and definitely on my platform for Guvna.
MikeL for a better Louisiana 2024, Muthafrickas!

And your point is well taken. Stated another way, Culture matters. I think Louisiana people are some of if not the best on this planet, but we get in our own way sometimes. Your upvote/downvote ratio is noteworthy.
