We put some cool driftwood in our flower beds. Have got a good many compliments. A couple people have stopped and asked where we bought them

Didn't realize one of the pickers was on TD...

Side note, I knew a guy who made good money collecting drift wood and selling them to taxidermy places for mounts...

Do you do the same...?

nice find. Just so yall know NOW is prime drift wood season as the river goes down it leaves lots of drift inside the levee. In a month or so tey will bull doze it in piles to burn or haul off so they can bush hog the grass. Every flea market and antique shop and land scaping place in La has assorted pieces for sale. We have a few pieces scattered about that we found and liked. It's fun riding along in da jeep behind the levee just looking. lots of ole unusual pieces of drift.

No just go up and down the river for my deliveries, there's 100s if not Thousands of pieces of driftwood on the shore cause the river has been so high lately.
