What do yall do for your wedding anniversaries?

Today was our 16th and I think we both forgot until yesterday. I looked it up. The classic gift for the 16th is wax, so I went bald downstairs for her but I don't think she appreciated it.

Scruffy usually does a nice gift and a joke gift.
Makes it memorable.
Wife’s joke gift last year for the iron anniversary was some metal dice that have food choices on them since she sucks at deciding where to eat.
Paper anniversary was a box of printer paper. Cotton was a tshirt with her face on it telling me to be quiet. Leather was a pair of chaps.

We always go on a nice 5 day vacation. She’s a school teacher and our anniversary falls right before school goes back so it’s also an end of summer vacation of sorts.
