Our 26th would have been a few days ago. Unfortunately she died right before our 20th. I always stuck to the traditional list and would buy her something that was appropriate. My MIL and her best friends called me to reminisce. It was a nice day.

Typically we travel. Depending on how much vacation time she has (I get 4 weeks while she gets 2) it might something a brief as a weekend getaway or as much as a full week. Our 29th is next month and we’re doing a 7-day cruise.

This year is 35 for us so I am taking her to Portugal. 35 is coral and I have some ideas about that too.

I should have bought the airline tickets at the beginning of the year when they were cheaper.

3 months before, we take a big map of Texas out and put it on the dart board.

The Mrs throws a dart to decide where we will load up the sprinter van for our annual anniversary trip.

Headed to El Dorado, Arkansas this time around.

The wife doesn't have the best aim, but I still love her.

We are actually still waiting for the right time to celebrate our 26th… *sigh*

I’m just happy the bloke has put up with me this long.

That’s a shame. She was hoping for the bone-in ribeye.

I've never heard of a woman forgetting her anniversary.
Women live for that shite.

If she actually forgot your anniversary then she's cheating and divorce is imminent.
If she's pretending to have forgotten your anniversary then she's cheating and divorce is imminent.

This is our second. We’re heading to Jost Van Dyke in the BVI for 5 days and then the Turks and Caicos for 4 days.

You younger baws pay attention to the calendar when you’re deciding a wedding date. We got married slap in the middle of May. First 5 years or so it was great. We could vacation while school was still going on and the beaches or wherever we went were never crowded. Then we start having kids and our anniversary is right in the last month of school with all the kids programs and other busy things going on. We typically have a nice dinner now and delay the trip a few weeks.

She missed the dart board to the right. Nice pinhole in the wall.

We just have our meetaversaries in October.

Usually go to Spanky’s Daiquiris where we met. Then out to dinner at the McDonalds on Perkins near college where we would meet for breakfast before class.
