It really depends, mostly on what anniversary and what else is going on around then (kids, work, etc.). It's been anything from lunch at an unpretentious but 'I want to try' restaurant, to a trip.

Get down on one knee and thank the Lord my wife kept me one more year.

Our 28th today. Just put steaks on the grill. Wife bought a cake. That's how we roll.
Wife bought herself a Brighton purse, and I get to buy an equivalent amount of tools.

We always go on a nice 5 day vacation. She’s a school teacher and our anniversary falls right before school goes back so it’s also an end of summer vacation of sorts.
I do the same for the same reason. Our anniversary usually is just before her spring break so we start that holiday a few days early with a short trip somewhere. This year was 4 days in Hawaii, next year, it’s my pick of the place so I’m thinking Iceland or Montreal. I like the cold but not skiing.

Same.
Just grateful to have them...
Hawaii cruise, new car, a sappy card, breakfast in bed ; always make 'em feel special.
Precious wives are a gift from God.
Cherish them and make that day special.
Women are romantic, and they love you and tolerate you the other 364 days of the year.

I went bald downstairs for her but I don't think she appreciated it.
We'll celebrate 33 years soon, once you and the wife go hardwood floors, there's no going back.

Ours is in a few weeks. We wanted to do something cool this year, but it's just not going to work out with the younger kid starting college a few weeks later and a few other things going on.
We usually just go to a nice restaurant if we aren't going out of town.

We take an extended trip since 2017. Last year was 2 weeks in Alaska, this year will be Oregon. Nice to connect with your wife away from the daily grind

I usually upgrade kitchen equipment.

What's the play for the higher, random numbers?
According to Google AI:
quote:
Celebrate 24 years of marriage with gifts that reflect the traditional opal theme (symbolizing love and hope) or the modern theme of musical instruments
We already own a bunch of musical instruments, and I don’t think opal is manly.
Lavender is another gift suggestion, so maybe I’ll wear a lavender thong

I've been using that for a pool cover but I can send it back to you

I think we'll try to do something cool for 25. We'll be empty nesters in August though. The kids are about to be pissed when my wife starts posting pics of us from Turks and Caicos in October

We told them we were going to take random vacations during the middle of the school year and send them pictures. Maybe a little mean

We were supposed to take a Disney trip with just the younger 3 in September, the older 3 pretended they didn’t care, but they were crying on the inside
I’m crying now because we aren’t going
