Is it really wrong? Look at all the "sanctuary" cities that all of a sudden had a problem when the brown people were shipped up their way instead of only making it to border towns. Some of the most disgustingly racist people I know are super woke. I'm sure you won't believe that, but I don't particularly care.

The woke warriors revere poor minorities in the “noble savage” mold. For the most part, they don’t dislike minorities, or trans people, or anything like that. What they detest is poor people being in their orbit. They don’t mind going into the poor people’s orbit, but they don’t want poor people invading their spaces.

So to go back to the original topic, as long as the trans person is reasonably affluent, they are going to treat that person as well as they do anyone else. Their being trans won’t move the needle either way.

Maybe you shouldn’t be in bathrooms with children

Who knows/cares?

A HS girl was pretty famously raped in Northern VA by a kid claiming to be trans (her father was arrested for going after the BOE for the cover up and i believe some of the officials may serve time).

But more broadly, it’s at best someone with massive mental illness, so who wouldn’t try and protect their children from exposure to that?

They probably say nothing because they're not bothered by them

I live in Portland. There are a lot of good and normal, functioning members of society. However there is an INSANE amount of transgender people here.

It used to have me rubber necking but I am pretty used to it now

I hope your concern is proportional for all males, all teachers, all priests, all sports coaches, etc.

It doesn’t affect my life much living here. I know one transgender person that I deal with through work. Presents as a female. I don’t know if he’s representative of them but he’s articulate and seems humble. Not really in your face I guess you could say

Treating someone kindly, sure. Zero chane you’re close to them. When’s the last time you and that person had dinner? Not with a big group, but a close friend dinner?
You invite them over to watch a game or have a drink?

Never. Unless you’re in a big group where they’re included but no one’s truly close to them.

My personal belief is that attempting to change genders is a crime against Nature, but I wouldn't treat them any differently as long as they are a respectful person.

Strangely, I can't recall the last time I saw one in the wild, and I live in a major metropolitan area - it's not very common here.
