Dude, you travel in some weird social circles. Are these the kind of people who won't eat anything non organic but will do shrooms or snort pills the first opportunity?

generally no. I have friends that will do that, but they generally aren't dietary restricted. Other than my wife, who is vegetarian but isn't particularly strict about it.

I also have a very large social circle?

And a fair bit of the gluten free people are from work.

I don't deal with any of these so none are annoying.

Why are you annoyed by them?

Depends. Restricted due to real health reasons or by choice/desire/lunacy?

Dairy free seems to be really tough. Cheese is so fricking delicious. So is ice cream. And anything made with milk. I can't imagine not eating cheese.

Some of these peanut allergies seem annoying. Imagine knowing you could die if a speck of peanut gets on your food. That'd be pretty annoying.

we entertain a lot.

We are hosting a small get together and will have a vegetarian there, plus the gluten free/soy free/diary free woman there. Along with another person who is gluten free.

Its hard to figure out what to serve food wise when you have that combination.

Gluten free is another money grab for the salesmen's dream types that believe everything people like Dr Oz tell them on TV. Only if you have celiac disease is gluten necessary. Vegans also are a pain in the butt

I entertain a lot too and don't really concern myself with others dietary habits. They don't like it don't come or bring your own.

But since you know these people are coming why not ask them what they like and can tolerate thus allowing yourself to not be annoyed?

This. The gluten-free diet is such bullshite. Yeah, there are celiacs that legit can't eat it just like some fat people are that way because of hyperthyroidism. Sure, it exists but it gets thrown around WAY too much.

Ever notice dirt poor people don't die if they eat nuts, gluten, carbs, etc.?

Is this a thing? Who the frick wants to avoid soy? I thought soy was healthy.

Soy allergy is pretty common, but I've never seen an extreme one.

Some meat heads avoid it because it produces (or has) estrogen in it.

Gluten free is a fad. Unless you have celiac disease you're being a trendy lemming.

This will annoy me further. They are just going to have to deal with what we serve.

Find it difficult to believe touching gluten bread transfers any thing whatsoever.

Psychosomatic?

Experiment. Touch but do not tell.
