My tradition...college graduates in the family get a fisher space pen. Should they decide to become an astronaut, they are all set.

If they're going to work in an office environment, sometimes buying a whole new wardrobe can be tough. Maybe a gift card to Brooks Brothers or the like. If they're headed to grad school, maybe a weekend at a hotel somewhere to getaway before school starts.
