Katrina took that fire jacket.

I only rocked it to let people know that I went to Ben Franklin.

How did you allow that to even happen?

How I imagine the OP....

Damn, TigerstuckinMS Beat me to it....

Side Note: Mine was in my parent's attic until I gave it to my nephew.. When he was at Rummel, they were big into wearing throwback school clothes..

Out of respect for my parents bank account, I chose not to purchase a jacket or a ring.

Didn't phase me one bit, as I remember most people wore each for about a week.

Wear it to job interviews. Employers love to see your high school achievements in the form of winter attire.

I was walking through Walmart the other day and noticed that they sell senior rings for under $100. I would have taken this route 10 of 10 times if available when I graduated.

It sat in my parents house for 25 years until they moved, so they gave it back to me and its in my closest. The synthetic leather sleeves are sticky, but the All-District, All-City patches still look good.

Found it in my old closet at my parents house one holiday. The sleeves were nasty and oily.

Thats what happened to mine. Its hanging in one of my closets. My LSU letterman jacket, along with some other stuff, I left at a friends apt in BR when I graduated. I had intentions of having the box shipped out to cali where I moved. When I called my friend a few months later, he had moved out of the apt but his roommate supposedly still had my stuff. Never saw it again.

Guy in one of my classes does this. He also wears a satchel and fedora frequently. Suffice it to say he got his letter for playing the skin flute in the band

That sucks. Get in touch with the L Club; they helped me replace mine and I don't remember it costing very much. It's a nice thing to have if you ever make it in town to participate in the Lettermen's Walk.

My high school started giving letter jackets for fricking everything. 3.0 GPA your junior year here's a letter jacket. Participate in any club or sport for 2 years here's a letter jacket. I've been rocking my math club and choir jacket for years.

Football, sitting in a closet at my parents' house.
