Mine is still in my closet. It's probably covered in dust because I haven't touched since I moved into my house 9 years ago.

Letter jackets at my school became overtaken by band fricks. It was pretty rare to see an athlete wear one although a couple did

Never wore it past high school. It's still at my parents' house if they haven't thrown it away.
The RA on my floor freshman year at LSU had played football at John Curtis. He kept his in a dry cleaning bag in his closet. He would take it out and show it to people like it was a religious artifact

I put on my jacket and state champ ring sometimes to talk to my son about being a winner. Then I tape the football to his hands and smash it until he cries, while pointing to my ring and telling him to "get chu one of these son, it'll carry you forever."
He's 4 but I think he's getting it

Either in my closet at my mom's house or it was a Katrina victim.
