What did you call your Grandfather in Law?

Mr. Walter for the 1st 10 years, then PawPaw the next 10 years.

"My wife's grandpa" or "sir" if addressing him directly. I only met him once before he died so never really had a chance to get more familiar.

They called him paw paw so I called him paw paw. This isn't rocket science.

Rod. Short for Rodney. I'm the son that he never had. He's a cool guy.

He willed me all of his guns, his boat and his hunting camp much to his 2 daughters' disliking

Serious answer. Sir. He spent over 5 years in a German POW camp. He had a rough beginning and a helluva life. He actually wrote an autobiography, but only made a copy for his wife and each of his kids. I have not been able to read it yet.

I met him when he was 76. He was nice and a cool guy, but still tough as a railroad spike.
