I'm in sales but I'm capable of doing field work if needed to if I was on a site, always told immigration I was there for sales & marketing only. They always asked who my customers were etc.

Panama, Costa Rica and Ecuador are consistently on the top of the best places to retire lists. Not too sure about the opportunities to work though.
