Having visited Chattanooga and Huntsville recently, they are both growing like crazy.
i don't think there are many cities that fit this criteria (that aren't suburbs of other cities)

Fayetteville AR
Bentonville AR
Rogers AR
was just going to mention those, like suburbs but without a large decaying city in the middle of them.

Bozeman, MT
Yeah Bozeman has gone insane. Our town of Missoula is also blowing up. Fortunately there's only so many places to go due to National Forest/mountains.
Outlying towns are growing significantly, down Bitterroot Valley to Hamilton, East Missoula, etc. Good for property values and food. Bad for mountain culture as Left Coasters invade. :barf:

It is on our list for new Southern base (leaving Atl). Great location without all the traffic and hype.

Revisited Greenville, South Carolina and was amazed how much it’s grown.
If you go up the road to Rock Hill SC, it's been growing pretty good. It's a little south of Charlotte and has gotten a bit of growth from people coming to the Charlotte area. The Panthers are building a new headquarters and practice site there, so there are some prospects of continuing growth.

Lafayette city is 125,000 with a metro of 600,000
I hate driving through Lafayette....I’m there for Biz several times a month. no interstates through it or loop around...all traffic is condensed to a series of congested roadways like Ambassador & Kaliste! Evangeline through the ghetto is a freaking joke.

Auburn AL is growing at about 2.8%. Probably one of the highest rates in the state.

Is part of the metroplex.. It would be different if you said Wichita Falls..

Will never bounce back from Katrina like it bounced back from Camille.. The new harbor and restaurants/bars downtown are great, but BSL will never be the same..

Heber Valley Utah. About 25,000 total population in the four towns that make up the valley. They are all growing together now. It’s 45 minutes from the Salt Lake City airport, and the valley is growing fast.
