None. And they shouldn’t unless of course they’re family or close friends. I’ve never understood the love affair society has with celebrities. Relationships are two way, yet folks feel this draw to love celebrities that couldn’t care less about them. It’s sad really.

Only celebrity I ever shed a tear for was Steve Irwin.

Got a little misty eyed about the Kobe tragedy, but that was mostly over his daughter dying before she even got a chance at life.

I drank a fifth after hearing about Dimebag Darrell. He was a big reason I picked up a guitar.

JFK. Cried as much for the nation as for him. To think that the president of the US had been shot, his brains scattered on the trunk of the presidential limo for all to see, was just more than a naive fifth grader could process. Since then, nada.

I was pretty young when Irwin died and I think I actually cried for that one. I got teary eyed with the Kobe death. Not so much because we lost a generational icon, because his daughter died too, and as a father, that hit me hard.

George Michael's death took me by surprise. Hated the fact that such a talent was gone to waste, too soon. I was a Wham! fan back in the 80's and idolized him as a teenager. After his death, I started buying his music again and was surprised he released great music that I was not even aware about.

Me too.

Who sheds a tear for these young generational representatives! Or even thinks about them and their impact on their generation?

I don't cry over people I've never met, but I was sad when Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Bernie Mac, Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Jerome Brown, and Stuart Scott died.

The only one for me was Mac Miller. His music helped me tremendously in a dark time in my life.

Nicky Hayden and Dave Mirra hit me the hardest. Didn't cry, but was really down when I found out.

I cried when I heard that Buffalo Bills owner, Ralph Wilson died. Firstly, because I’m a lifelong Bills fan and moreover for what he meant to what the genesis of the NFL with merger with AFL in the late 50’s

His HOF acceptance and speech was very good.

HOF acceptance speech

RIP “The Ralph”

I have never, nor will never shed a tear over somebody that I never knew.

As I said immediately after Kobe’s death, the celebrity worship we have in this society nowadays is the epitome of stupidity and not healthy.
