Are there any ideas to spur growth and land use in NOLA East?

Maybe a nascar track?

A giant nature preserve?

Giant animal park with exotic animals that you drive through like a safari?

Some kind of huge intermodal transport and warehouse park?

Maybe an amusement park? With some sort of New Orleans-esque theme....maybe jazz?

I don’t know. I’m just spitballing here.

A good car wash would help.

I like it.

Combine it with an exotic animal safari park.

I believe Russia was working on this plan just recently. Probably planning to put in a bid for the project:

I like it.

Why not?

Let’s get a multifaceted approach.

If you tear down New Orleans East, the people will just go elsewhere — Maybe even a place you don’t want them to go.. Why can’t you just let them be, and you not go to the east?

Las Vegas style casinos with big name entertainment, sports betting, lots of their own security, their own schools for employees, and their own levee and pump system ,

If NOLA government could get their shite together it would help revitalize the area. Just having a halfway competent government is enough to attract some people.

A school system that wasn't straight garbage would help too. The independent systems do show slight signs of improvement, but it will be another decade or two at these rates before the system could even be considered turned around.

Both of those are extremely tall orders.
