I'll check them out. I wear boat shoes or something similar most of the year. For whatever reason I've never been much of a tennis shoe guy.

I buy Under Armour stuff, I think it’s worth it. Their underwear is awesome, and their polo shirts are pretty much my go to. Plus, if you pay attention you can get a bunch of stuff on clearance and Rakuten always does good cash back sales.

Osprey for hiking/commuter bags. I've returned one that was stained and worn out due to usage and they sent me a new one.

Specifically the men’s underwear. The very best quality and most comfortable I have ever worn.

Fancy brand name motor oil sat on shelf at Walmart next to Walmart's private label motor oil.
Almost everything private label at Walmart is made by a name brand to the same quality as their product in exchange for favorable product placement of the branded product. I have witnessed the negotiations, and it really isn't a negotiation, you give what walmart wants or they tell you to GTFO.

alf that brand value chit is a state of mind.
Way more than half.
Companies pour big money into brand perception and recognition with their marketing strategy budgets.

Disagree. Berne is just as good for 2/3rds price.

My wife knows the drill....if we walk into a restaurant and see cheap ketchup on the table we leave. If they are skimping on what you can see I can promise you they are skimping others places too.
You do realize that those places are refilling those heinz bottles with the cheap stuff.

Any restaurant with a ketchup bottle on the table is certainly skimping no matter the brand.
Yeah.... I love it when restaurants don't skimp and bring me a whole ounce of ketchup in a tiny silver cup that I use on two french fries.

For boat shoes, I wear Sperry exclusively now. You just have to find them on clearance.
