What boot socks are y'all rocking?

I've been wearing Dickie's merino blend quarter socks for a few years now. I love the wool. They're starting to wear out now. I can no longer find these for sale. I've been eying the darn tough but it will cost a small fortune (I'm a poor) to have 10 or so pairs of these. Anybody have a good recommendation for a more affordable everyday wool sock to be worn with cowboy boots?

I have worn Thorlo socks for everything technical for 25 years. They have very specific socks for most any activity, this is more normal now but they were the early leader in this niche.

I like both Smartwool and Darn Tough. Though a lot of my Smartwools seem to wear out in the heel sooner than I think they should.
Yes, and expensive socks are just as suceptible to disappearing into thin air as cheap socks.

I lived in Danner Acadias for over twenty years in my prior work life. I bought stupid cheap WalMart socks. Someone gifted me a pair of Darn Tough my last year on the job and they were night and day to cheap socks. I can't believe I didn't find out earlier.

I don't have any cowboy boots, but I do have snow boots, and my socks of choice are Bombas. They're thick, warm, durable and for every pair bought, they donate a pair to the homeless.

Darn Tough > Smart Wool imo They go on sale, buy them then. Wool socks dont need to be washed every use either, you dont need ten pairs
