I travel often. This is not something I worry about at decent establishments

Before I travel I always check the bedbug registry. All cases are reported. You’re welcome.

For te last 10 years or so we drag our camper every where with us. It's nice to sleepin ya own kitchen and have ya own kitchen and toilet with ya. Camp grounds are lots more fun than hotels. When we road tripping we just back into a spot and plug an extension in in and fix supper go to bed. The extension is for the AC and TV other wise we stop in a parking lot somewhere and call it a night.

You get them once and you will be pulling sheets off the bed to check even if you are staying at the Waldorf Astoria, which btw has had bed bugs.

1. Check mattress
2. Keep suitcase in garbage bag on a METAL luggage rack
3. Take out only clothes you will wear that day
4. Dirty clothes go in another garbage bag
5. When you get home all clothes straight into washing machine
6. Keep luggage outside
7. Hot temps will kill the little buggers(south la summer heat in a car will toast them)

I stay in hotels often and have never had an encounter with bed bugs. I'm in one now and I'm not worried about it.
