What are your favorite paddling destination in Louisiana?

Seeing bayou teche , at Martinsville, iberville, tamany parish . Allen parish .
I dont know where to choose.

Also, who has kayaked on Toro bayou ? They have white water apparently. Can you bring drinks

I want to make a long trek from the kayak launch at Highland Road Park all the way down Bayou Fountain to Bayou Manchac to the Amite River to Fred’s in Port Vincent one day.

I’d have to put impacted, anti-biotic gel-globs in my ears before I’d ever swim in a Louisiana body of water in the summer again. There are micro unicellular flagellates in abundance they ain’t got names for yet.
