My fishing buddy said pretty much the same thing last week about swimming in the water by our camp. Said you wouldnt ever catch him swimming in that water.I
He boldly said this and 2 seconds later he wipes our and falls head over heels into the water.

I put in at Mag Woods pool in Dawson Creek and made it to Wards creek behind Siegen Center and then was pushed back by a 30 mph gale.
My goal was to make it to Lake Maurepas but there had been way too much portaging with snakes around.

Favorite place for me is by far is bogue chitto by the state line. It's even better in MS
