What are you OK paying for someone to do now that you used to insist doing yourself

I have to go with moving. frick doing all that yourself. Let the professionals deal with the hassle. Move the valuable items yourself, sure, supervise, sure, but don’t cause undo stress in your life.

I'll pay someone to come clean my place once a quarter or so. I keep my place tidy, but they'll come clean the blinds, dust everything good, etc for like $35 so it's worth it a couple times a year.

Cleaning my roof twice a year. It's not worth falling off the ladder and ending up paralyzed.

I’ve moved several times by myself and contemplated suicide throughout the process of every single one of them

We hired movers to move the big stuff; furniture, washer, dryer, etc.

Worth every. dang. penny.

Trying to decide if it's worth paying to move just one bedroom worth of stuff.

That vs renting a truck and trying to do everything on my own.

We prefer doing most things ourselves however we've accumulated a lot of stuff in our lives and also have a home business with inventory. Moving is quite the monumental task at this point. So, I rent two 26' Uhauls for the move. At my day job we have 300+ manufacturing personnel (Texicans) that are always looking to make extra money. I get eight of those guys and they can knock out a house with a quickness. Takes about 6 total truck loads. They're inexpensive great help.

It took me 15 years of being stubborn to realize that paying someone $25 to change my oil was a pretty damn good deal.

As a young buck I was stubborn and said I would never pay anyone anything if I was physically capable of doing it myself. Now I am trying to get to the point where I outsource 100% of my chores, projects etc. can’t put a price on time and how it’s spent

My tool box used to have a 10-pound sledge hammer and a credit card in it.
The hammer got to be too much work so I replaced it with a cell phone.

Oh, and I plan to never, ever do yard work again.
