but they'll come clean the blinds, dust everything good, etc for like $35 so it's worth it a couple times a year.
Where do you live for this kind of rate?

Dallas. Theyll put out fliers throughout the building. I'm assuming it's a volume thing, they try to get a bunch in the building and stay all day making it worth the lower rate.

Agree with the moving part, but you have to be real selective about who you hire to do it. Not gonna put any company on blast on here, but I had a terrible experience. They scratched the living shite out of the wood floor of the house I moved in and made me jump through all kinds of hoops to attempt to get it fixed, in which it never was anyway. They also scratched the walls. It's nice not having to do any physical work moving, but you do have to bird dog the living shite out of them while they're doing it. They're not going to give a shite and will drag heavy arse items on the floor, bump into the walls, not be careful moving down a hallway, etc.
And this was a national company I went with, and not some little small chicken shite company.

I paid someone to change the serpentine belt in my wife’s suv. It’s the first time in 15 years that I haven’t done that myself on a car I own.
It’s a 4cyl, and the motor is turned sideways and the belt sits against the passenger side wheel well and I didn’t feel like the headache.

I quit changing my own oil years ago. I am also right on the verge of hiring out my lawn maintenance. I used to enjoy all of that stuff, but the years have made me soft!

Me too, learned why they get paid so well, damn, never again
Yep. I can always say I did it once. I won't do it twice.
Also, I quit changing my own oil. Too big of a hassle to dispose of the used oil.

Oil change, grass cut, I have a 2001 model car and have never washed it.

Moving is number one. Moved 5 times in the last 2 years. I pocketed all the relo checks and did that shite myself. Grew that cash into a nice egg.
This next move... nah. Not worth it.

I wasn’t smart and assisted family in a move this weekend. They paid me to help with the stuff that could fit into small and medium boxes. Some of those small boxes were heavy. We probably moved over 30 boxes and more bags ourselves from the 3rd floor of their old apartment to the third floor of their condo. fricking exhausting.
We had the moving company move the furniture and they were great. 4 short Indian-Mexicans. They were compact and stronger than you’d believe looking at them. We had them for 4 hours and they set everything up. They made less of a mess than we would have. They were expensive(750 with tip) but we would have destroyed the stairwell and hurt our backs with most of the furniture.
We moved one mattress and box spring ourselves and that took two to three times as long as the bed they moved.

I have to agree with that. I'll probably never move again, but if I do, someone else can profit from it.
I still do all my own yard work, automotive work and maintenance, but I'm getting too old for all that, and feel it too long afterward. The time for letting someone else do it is rapidly approaching.

2 story painting. Not gonna d'it anymore. Well worth the money.
I still mow, edge, weed, and plant myself. None of that really takes that long for me. 1/3 acre lot s/d so it is manageable.
I also use dry cleaners to press all of the work clothes. $40 bucks saves me about 4 hours. And it looks better than when I do it myself.

Haircuts, totally worth it.
The husband used to cut our boy’s hair using his beard trimmer.
After a few years he started to bring kiddo to get their hair cut together. Much better.

Mulching, I'm doing it now and I'm worn out...15 yards is no joke.
