Much like Thanksgiving.. turkey breast, Mac n cheese, ham, green bean casserole, chicken and sausage gumbo. Can’t beat it. Same spread for Thanksgiving and I’ll never change it.

Rib roast last night, homemade cinnamon rolls this morning, shrimp and corn soup later. Chocolate things everywhere in between. Diabeetus incoming.

Brisket,ribs,sausage with smoked baked beans, smoked jalapeño popper Mac n cheese, and sweet potato casserole. New York Style cherry cheesecake and assorted holiday cookies/fudge/candy for desert.

I'm filed a protest for today's meal. We were gonna have the traditional just my wife and I but that got nixed for brisket. BRISKET! BRISKET! You talking about BRISKET? My wife said she'll cook it tomorrow. I told her never mind; the thrill is gone. Time to start drinking.

Gumbo… making two different pots one seafood the other chicken and sausage… I’m back home in Monroe for the holidays so this PREMIUM GUMBO… not that shite they pass off for gumbo in South Louisiana
