I imagine there will be a time in the future when proteins of any flavor and texture can be so easily and cheaply synthesized that the idea of raising animals for food seems medieval.

Its been studied for decades bc everyone thought it was bad and the evidence for it being a "poison" is practically non-existent.

The amount and kinds of trash/waste will change, and there should be way less of it in general. We are pretty damn wasteful as a society.

I kind of agree with this. Guys are so big, so strong, and so fast now that it just seems inevitable that someone will eventually get killed due to an injury on national TV.
If it exists, I think football in the future will either impose weight limits or will closer resemble a 7 on 7 or flag game than what we watch now.
