What about a catheter? The worst is when you have untrained nurses trying insert a catheter. Once, it took them more than an hour to get it right. They had to hold me down/restrain me. I was five years old.
Some memories/flashbacks of some of the long hospital stays make me shudder. There are some memories so painful that I can't even talk about it....even now.
Any situation with no escape makes my skin crawl.
