Not service animals like seeing eye dogs or others of that kind to help people with physical disabilities. But people who can’t go to the airport without their pet. I’m sure having a pet in your life can help with all kinds of stress but I think a lot of people abuse this to get their pet to ride for free on their flights. I’m at a smallish terminal right now with at least 3 or 4 medium to large dogs with ESA harnesses. I’ll give it to them they’re well behaved but I can’t imagine having to deal with the ones that aren’t. Also what do they do when these animals have to go to the bathroom? Just pray it doesn’t become an issue?

All animals should be banned from flights regardless of what it is or what it’s purpose is

An atheist without a pet is someone with no invisible emotional means of support

People abuse the shite out of the system, just like any other system.

It's a farce. When I worked in transportation we ended up banning emotional support animals unless they have a form filled out by a doctor.

My horse and I have a special relationship. He loves the way I tickle his genitals. He loves me. I just enjoy playing with his balls.

I dislike animals and having an animal by me on a plane causes me emotional distress but nobody cares.

You can pay 50 bucks to get a fake doctors note online.

In my everyday life it is a way for people to get around the banned aggressive breeds and fill the complex with pits and German Shepard’s

It’s amazing how those are the most supportive breeds.

I get that some people have a real need but hopefully we are moving towards having to be a person’s actual treating doctor who is licensed in the state instead of a form letter from 1 doc in Cali who sells them for $75

Too many people abuse the system though

We had a specific form they had to use, and send to the doctor to get approval.

Real support animals aren't the issue. Most ESA's are abusive situations. People do it because they can.

If I can't have an emotional support hooker than why the hell can Karen have a chihuahua?
