Seriously, negative (D Width) but I like uniformity and have found those brands to give me the same fit repeatedly shoe after shoe.

Interesting take on your part though.

I wear a size 10.5 4E, and those are the brands, along with New Balance, that consistently have my size.

Yea they’re expensive but they’ll last forever. I have a a couple of Allen Edmunds and they’re the best shoes I’ve owned and also the most comfortable. They’re classic and comfortable. They’ll also re-sole/fix them if you send them back. Easily will outlast 3 pairs of Johnson & Murphy or comparable that you’d get at Dillards or Macy’s. To put it another way, I feel like I’ve ridden them hard and put ‘em up wet with 300,000 miles and you’d never know unless I told you.

Quoddy makes a 3 and 4-eye blucher. More expensive than Bean, but better quality.

Johnston Murphy casuals ( don't know what they are called) . Didn't know they made shoes out of cotton.

It’s a tie between these two .. i got them both at Costco, so paid way less than the Amazon prices shown

Not to sound ridiculous, but a worn pair of 1953 horse bit Gucci's are incredibly comfortable. TL ostrich boots are beyond comfortable once worn in. I'm a huge fan of Mezlan (Spanish I think) ostrich loafers, as they come out of the box comfortable af.
