Ive had a similar pair of LL beans and you are correct. Easily most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned. When they die I’m taking the insoles out and reusing them

I bought a pair of these LL bean camp Mocs but with the four eyelet “blucher” style. Can confirm the remarkable comfort and they actually haven’t worn down much although I’ve worn them a lot over the past year. Cant find the same exact style or I’d own a 2nd pair.

I as fitted at the local new balance store that was a game changer. I was wearing too small a shoe before. Johnston Murphy work or dress shoes.

Most comfortable athletic shoe is Brooks Ghost

Most comfortable walking around is NB Arishi. I’ll also vouch for All Birds. I’d never pay for them but won a pair and they are comfortable AF.

Loafers: the Gucci 1953s aren't all that comfortable, mezlan and Allen edmonds are better on the comfort side. the AE had to be broken in which was painful, the mezlan loafers come out of the box like a cloud.

Boots: Ariats I have had have been decent, but my Tony Llama's are definitely my most comfottable out of any shoe/boot.

tennis shoes (Cup Sole): Nike sb dunks (especially the mid tops and high tops which are both hard to find now because of these weirdo sneaker heads) are very comfortable and imo the most comfortable cupsole shoe.

Tennis Shoes (Vulcanized): Nike SB Blazers are really comfortable in all variationsl. Emerica's vulcanized shoes have always been real comfortable (think the OG Reynolds 3's), but Vans Half Cabs are probably the most comfortable sneaker shoe ever.

I bought a pair of Yeezy’s almost two years ago. They are the most comfortable tennis shoe I’ve ever owned. In fact, I bought another pair about 2 weeks ago. For dress shoe, Ecco monk strap something.

I’ve a pair of them but still am partial to my Brooks or Avia.

I use Merrill or Danner for rougher trekking.

Merrill, Brooks, and Avia. You must wear wide sizes.

TWSS

Seriously, negative (D Width) but I like uniformity and have found those brands to give me the same fit repeatedly shoe after shoe.

Interesting take on your part though.
