I'm recently divorced. It's been a very difficult time, but im ready to get out there and start meeting people. Ive been out of the game for so long, I have no idea where to start i live in CA and I'm 46. I know there's tons of apps out there so any advice is much appreciated.

Anyone have success stories to share? And I could use some words of encouragement for those of you that have gone thru a divorce. TIA

None. Just go outside and meet ladies in areas/places/interests that you are involved with. No app will beat real person interaction and connection.

If you have no interests...join a gym, join a run club, volunteer, there are a million different things and groups people are involved with and you will meet plenty of women there

TY. The gym has been a blessing during this time. Volunteer work is something I've definitely thought about doing

Dating sites aren’t what they were, 10, 15 years ago. Most are women that don’t want to date they just like constant attention from men and they definitely get it. Also, so many fake profiles from someone that will eventually ask you for money.

I’m also 46. That sucks for you I’m sorry

I would that thought the apps by now would be eaten up by bots, scammers, and hookers.

I keep hearing divorce rates are going down but there seem to be a lot of divorced women around. But most have lots of kids and drama around them

First off, congrats on the divorce and I'm sorry it's been a rough road. You'll be back on the horse before you know it but your wounds are still raw it appears.

Always wondered about this statement. So it takes guys getting divorced or a looming threat of divorce for them to get healthy/fit? Any reason why you didn't do this before during the marriage?

100% and you'll meet some like-minded people who care about society. Oh, and probably some babes

Very, very incorrect.
Casting a large net in the dating pool is easier now than ever.
Work smarter, not harder.

No, I've always been into fitness. What I meant is it's been a blessing to be able to work out during this difficult time.

Try a church.

How do I know your not because you'll be out numbered two to one. The cavet most aren't giving it away to the guy who jumps from one, to one, to another.
