I went down that one, but not very deep. The Hadron Collider results, and quintana coupling, and teleportation. Yeesh.

The invention of tequila. Lots of interesting history and Mexico has tons of laws and restrictions regarding it because it’s their biggest export. It’s interesting to me that Mexico would be so strict because it seems like anything goes down there.

British monarchy and tracing the line back and to all the sides along the way.

A real snoozer compared to some of you crazy uncles.

Warren Zevon. Faced imminent death with such grace. I always felt his music was undervalued. He was revered by so many great musicians. David Letterman had live music on his show for 33 years and is one like me who appreciates how live music can permeate one’s soul. He had a sincere admiration for Warren and his music.

Have you watched The Pyramid Code? Not only is it baffling how the moved the rocks and moved the granite stones hundreds of miles but the geometry of the Great Pyramid is fascinating. They understood more about math and astronomy than we did 100 years ago.

Rubik cube solves. Best I could do growing up was two sides. In the past two weeks I have gone from solving the whole thing to doing it in under 2.5 minutes. Goal is now to do it in a minute.

No way humans moved those stones.

That’s because they weren’t cut, they were poured.

You'd probably enjoy Clickspring's Antikythera Mechanism series. I think I mentioned it in one of the YouTube threads a while back. He tries to recreate it using period methods and tools.
