I put these under my deck: Tuftex Panels From Lowes

It's not a hard do-it-yourself project. Having a drywall lift or something similar is a must have.

With the right person, a sex dungeon might be fun.

We pulled a JoJo move and knocked a wall out between a family room and formal living room. It almost doubled our family room in size and so much better for entertaining. Formal LR's should never be built they are such a waste! We had to put a beam in middle for support which I hated at first but it's a nice break in the giant room.

Do you mind posting pictures of this, my wife and I have talked about this but need a visual. TIA

We added the Nest a few years ago. We love it and it saves us money by learning our schedule. It also drives us crazy by learning our schedule because it is stubborn and doesn't know when we have a day off of work. Nothing like waking up to a hot house when you try to sleep in on a weekday.

If you don't have motion lights, you're missing out.
I have one under the carport, in my shed, in my attic, in the laundry room, and all the closets.
The ones you install to inside to replace the light switch are cheap and simple to install.

Hmmmm, never thought about throwing a motion sensor in the attic. What did you install? I would be very interested in doing so.

What my wife wants are the LEDs outside in the soffits above each of the windows and garage door.

Not to sound like a tinfoil hat wearer but I just can't get comfortable with the idea of hooking my house up to the internet. Some things I just prefer to keep manual for security purposes. Especially those electronic door locks. How long before someone comes up with a way to hack that and be able to just walk in your house?

Likewise, I am really creeped out by this Amazon speaker that sits in your house hooked to the internet and listens to everything. That is just a horrible idea (as bad as cameras in the house hooked to the internet IMO). I was one of the first people at my company to put a piece of tape over my laptop camera and people laughed at me until the news stories about companies and schools being able to remote activate the camera came out in the news. So it isn't paranoid if its true...

Spray foam insulation was great for me. It was new construction though. Not sure how effective it would be if you didn't get it in the exterior walls.

tight setup on the ac window unit/8/9ball rack shelf/cord management & paper blinds combo. eta so your 911 sits in the driveway now?

It is a garage, after all.
Those are real blinds, though. The window unit does a fantastic job, even in the peak summer months. Heating is a bitch though in the winter, though a small portable heater does a decent enough job if you run it constantly (except for that handful of really cold days). And keep up, bro - the 911 was 2 cars ago. Went through a 2015 Vette and a new Jag XJL Portfolio since then.

glad you're taking care of them by keeping a pool table in the garage

Already traded the Vette on the Jag. I don't keep cars long enough for them to get old looking, so it's not a big issue. Though when pollen time hits on the Northshore, there are days I wish I had a garage again. Then I go shoot pool or play guitar in my gameroom and forget all about it.

To be fair though, if you just had a regular old non-smart programmable thermostat, you Would still wake up to a hot house on a day off. At least with a smart thermostat you can fix that shite from your bed.

so i guess you dont have a cell phone.... You dont want Big Bro hearing everything you do, tracking your every move, and seeing you via the cameras on both sides of the phone.

I went with the insulated aluminum panels. I already had the slab in place so just the 18x20 awning with 4" square columns and gutters/fan beam ran something like 4300 installed.

The color matches my siding, soffit perfectly and they completed the job in about half a day.

I used Superior Patio and would recommend them. They've been in the business for 30 years or something.
