What are some modern conveniences that you deny in your life

Food delivery(DoorDash, Uber Eats). If I order food, I’m picking it up.

Up until very recently I was the same with food delivery. With two kids I have now done it twice when hungover and traveling.

Same. I actually hate smart watches. I find people who wear them are assholes. Even in the middle of a conversation they will stop what they are doing and read/reply to a message.

A microwave. The wife will not have one on the counter and there’s no way to mount under a cabinet.

I’ve never used/asked Siri anything. Not once.
I still use the plug in ear phones to listen to music

My cellphone is a flip phone that cost me less than $20. I can make calls, get calls and that is all I use it for. No taking pics, no texting, no social media or any internet use. I use it strictly as a phone.
I change my own oil and filters and do most mechanical work on my vehicles----wash and wax them by hand too, so no commercial car washes or detailers.
No food delivery since I love to cook and don't order out but maybe 5-6 times a year and will go pick it up myself from local restaurants.
Go to the store with a list and buy my own groceries and don't depend on some goober doing it for me so all I have to do is call from the lot and have them bring it to me.
And frick coffee shops with their $6 cups of coffee with stupid names attached to them. Just give me a large cup of hot coffee and I don't care if you call it a Vente, Grande, Gigante or any other silly name.
Now, get off my lawn............
