Go kart. Mom thought they were dangerous because my cousin had burned herself really bad on one. Her and my Dad came to a compromise and got me a Honda 70 3-wheeler instead. I proceeded to flip it Christmas Day breaking my collar bone

The giant Lego Star Wars vehicles like the Millennium Falcon.

That being said, now that I can get it for myself, I’m not spending hundreds on it.

In middle school (mid 90s) I wanted a brand new red Honda Fourtrax 300 4X4, I think it was like 4k. I never got it but dad got me an old Kawasaki 300. Damn thing broke down once a month and he spent more money keeping it running than he would have on a new Honda

Christmas when I was turning 10 my dad got a new 4 wheeler so I got his old Honda big red

Probably not the most responsible gift but I had a blast

I really don’t remember being crushed by not getting something I really wanted. We were poor but my grandparents weren’t and they were awesome

Instead I got the B-Wing because they were out of the X-Wing

They X-wing was very nice but I too got the B-Wing back in X-mas 84’ and it was an insanely cool vehicle. The gyroscopic cockpit was mind blowing at the time.

I’d ask for big stuff for Christmas and not get it and then my dad would buy it on the cheap for my birthday several months later. Dude’s a genius.

I really wanted a 3 wheeler growing up but a family friend's son in Monroe rolled his 110 and he was killed. For that reason, my mom said frick no. I guess dad didn't push the issue since we got to our duck spots then by boat and we walked to our deer stands. I finally bought one on my own my Senior year of high school but for my birthday which was just a few days after Christmas anyway. It was a 200S and not a 350X like the one pictured, which was like the holy grail of wheelers back then.

She’s 5 years younger than me so not when I was a kid, maybe by age 25.

Her husband is worth around $33 billion.

Sears MoPed.

Mom always said no. Even today, with her at 98, she still says I can't have a motorcycle.

There was never a chance for that, so probably a transistor radio (AM) so that I could listen to WRBC radio.
