Why we humans, a mortal, tiny and insignificant species as juxtaposed against the limitless universe, waste all of our time with petty squabbles over shite like politics and culture wars.

In a thousand years, nobody will even remember us.

What goes on in a dog’s mind. Do they hear their own voices in their heads? Do they have a conscience?

Obviously. The universe is not infinite.

I never struggled with space and infinity. I struggle with the Heisenberg uncertainty principle.

Why the world’s English speaking population feels the need to use the word “literally” in almost every sentence.

Who am I? Am I my brain? Or am I something separate from my brain that uses the brain as a tool to experience this reality? Or am I neither? Is this feeling of “I” an illusion? What does reality look like outside the lens of our eyes and brains? If we changed the lens by which we perceive this reality, could we see something like just strings of energy bouncing all over the place?

Will “I” ever experience anything again after my life here is done? Have “I” experienced things before this life? If so, does the time between my lives feel like an instant? Such that I could have been a caveman hundreds of thousands years ago, died, and feel like the next moment I was born in 1987 as a modern human?

Are they?

ETA:

And before the simpletons jump in. The big bang was not an explosion. It is a process that is ongoing. Space is expanding itself. We will also never physically travel to other galaxies. If you believe so, then you don't understand scale.

It's not. So you don't have to worry about not understanding that anymore. You now have to worry about not understanding that it's not infinite.
